RC snubbers protect the transformer primary windings from high frequency voltage transients and is designed conforming to all technical requirement of relevant IEC standards. The RC snubbers are manufactured under total quality control norms in line with ISO 9001.

Salient Features:
- RC snubbers protect the transformer primary windings from high frequency voltage transients.
- Ensures Transient Recovery Voltage (TRV) does not exceed circuit breaker rating during reactor switching.
- RC snubbers manufactured by Al-Ahleia are custom built meeting the requirements specified after the system study.
- Snubber unit comprises combination of surge capacitor and resistor to reduce magnitude and frequency of Transient voltages and further the rate of rise of recovery voltage. Phase to phase and phase to earth surge or lightning arrestors are provided to limit the magnitude of transients as and when required.
